Introduction

Tor is a toolset for a wide range of organizations and people that want to improve their safety and security on the Internet. Using Tor can help you anonymize web browsing and publishing, instant messaging, IRC, SSH, and other applications that use the TCP protocol. Tor also provides a platform on which software developers can build new applications with built-in anonymity, safety, and privacy features.

I like tor, but it is something hard to use for me. Tor and privoxy must be installed separately. Everytime I want to use tor, I have to start it from the Windows Start Menu, and sometimes TorCP and Privoxy is also needed. I really want to use tor more easily.

EzTor is a Mozilla Firefox extension to solve this problem. It could be used on Windows 2000/XP system(maybe it will support windows 98/me in the future).

What could this extension do? It adds a menu item to the Firefox Tools Menu and a button to the Firefox tool bar. And what's more is that you don't need to install tor in order to use it. Everything you have to do is just click "EzTor" in the menu or the button in the Firefox tool bar.
